I spotted this picture on a square wooden board at the Goodwill and thought it would be a perfect candidate for $1.95.
This scrapbook paper is at Michael’s. It is a thin layer of cork on one side and you can peel off the back to reveal the sticky side. ($1.95)
And stuck it right over the flowers on the board. I call this shot
cork cum random cherry tomato.
Then I hot glued scrabble letters right on top. (look for used scrabble games at thrift stores and yard sales! these are from this project)
Here are all of our names, but I smudged out my husband’s name because, I don’t know, I’m a slight bit paranoid about crazies on the internet looking up where we live?? But I loved how they all fit together!
And our last name may or may not be Stewart…
And this may or may not be a blurry picture..sorry.
I hot glued the letter board (spray painted in Krylon’s Ocean Breeze) as well and then the letters hot glued on to that..hot glue madness around here. Our first piece of artwork is complete for our gallery wall! I’m also adding it to Under $10 Under 1 Hour. Which reminds me…it’s almost time for our annual U10U1 party! Details coming soon…
