I have to admit, this nearly perfect summer day almost didn’t happen. We’re getting ready to go on our big trip, my to-do list is a couple pages long, and I was thinking of other things we could do that wouldn’t take as much time and picking up some berries at the Farmer’s Market, but look what we would have missed:
the blueberries were huge and scrumptious this year!

We stopped for some peaches and cow tales on our way
to our favorite bridge for a picnic.
I totally had them hold hands, but this picture just makes my mommy heart ache:

As we were driving home, my oldest said, “I am SO happy right now.”
me too~that the dumb busy fluff stuff didn’t win today.
