Remember this chair I found on Craigslist for $10 back in July?




I hauled her out back, pulled out my chemicals to give her a thorough cleaning and vacumming before bringing her inside.
and then painted the wood heirloom white. I used liquid sandpaper to prepare the wood for painting, then used a brush and then kids’ small paintbrushes to get the curves. Then, I just sanded the edges and made it look worn so when my kids continue to beat it up, it all looks like it’s meant to be. No re-upholstering here~I bought it because I actually liked the fabric, it’s durable, and it’s super comfortable. The living room is coming together! Gotta love what $10 and some paint can get you….
