It’s been another month of some fun thrifty treasures:
A mailbox (2.95-Goodwill) I thought this would be so fun to brighten up and add to the playroom. And some brand new down pillow forms ($3-neighbor’s yard sale) Hold on to your hats, I may actually sew something. We’ll see…july 2010 008 1 Cute shoes…never been worn (neighbor’s yard sale $1.50)

Some new light shades for our bathroom that eventually we’ll give a facelift (.75 each—thrift store)

Total for the month: $26.60
As you can see, some of my neighbors had a yard sale and I also got some fun furniture finds for my living room upstairs..hopefully I’ll be showing them soon…

  2. I have a hard time finding things at the thrift stores. I guess I don't have the eye for thrifting. Can't wait to see what you do with it all.

  10. Great finds, Melissa! You've reminded me that I have some pillow forms that could use some fabric around them, plus some old ones I want to redo. Love that tin container ~ perfect wall or door hanging piece.

  14. Love your finds! I haven't had too much luck lately. I'm curious to see what you do with the large framed print. I have a couple in my garage right now. I had a few ideas, but am not quite "feeling" it right now. Some days things click on what to do with your finds and sometimes they don't! :)

    BTW, if you don't like those shoes, send them my way. They're even my size!
